Just next to AMARC is the Pima Air & Space Museum (PASM). In my opinion the finest Airmuseum in the world ! Incredible collection. We visited the museum right after the first leg of our AMARC visit in the morning. First we bought our tickets for the AMARC bustour at the entrance. This tour is from Monday till Friday twice a day. A ticket is 7,00 Dollar. Be aware: Government issued photo identification is required ! The museum itself features over 300 (!!) aircraft in- and outdoors on a exhibit space of over 100,000 square feet. The museum was established back in 1966 and greets about 165,000 visitors each year. The museum receives no governmental aid and is supported solely by gate admissions, sales from the gift shop and other donations. The museum is located at 6000 East Valencia Road, Tucson, and is open every day (except X-mas and Thanxgiving Day) from 9.00 AM till 5.00 PM. Admission is 13,75 Dollar for adults. The highlights are too much to mention so what more can I say ? I just let the pics speak for them themselves !
